TARIQ HEIJBOER

Tariq Heijboer is an Amsterdam based graphic designer with a conceptual approach. He has a fascination for systems, collections and classifications. Tariq focuses on typographic, printed and site-specific projects, such as books, exhibitions, signage systems, typefaces and visual identities. He likes to experiment and attempts to leave room for coincidence. Tariq studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and Pratt Institute.

Recently Tariq Heijboer has worked together with a variety of individuals and institutions including; Jap Sam Books, M HKA, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Museum de Lakenhal, Museum Kranenburgh, V-A-C Foundation, PLP Architecture, Welcome Stranger, Koninklijke Bibliotheek, Eenwerk, Superflus and Studio Claudy Jongstra. Tariq’s work has be selected for The Best Dutch Book Design and Schönsten Bücher Aus Aller Welt.
